Dave Patt (Drums/Vocals) found his ability to play the drums at an early age. His natural, gifted talent and love for pounding the skins at any opportunity, gained him quick recognition in his home town of Pasadena, California. During this time, his sister was dating Motley Crue’s drummer Tommy Lee. Hanging out at rehearsals and back stage in the early days of Motley Crue, Dave and Tommy would work out there drum chops together. Dave’s visceral style of playing, groove and steady meter, landed him a gig with Warner Brothers’ staff writer and guitar player Terry Kilgore, better known for his work with David Lee Roth. Touring nationally and internationally, as well as working in some of L.A.’s well known recording studios, Dave soon found himself working with Southern California’s best known artists:
Donnie Vox (Lonesome Romeos, Motels); Michael Britton (Britton); Johnnie Avila (Oingo Boingo); Tommy Gerwein (Eddie Money); Scotty Waller (Smile); Mark Poynter (Smile, the Knack); Frank Simes (Don Henley, Mick Jagger). The highlight of Dave’s music career to date, was playing with World renowned guitarist Eddie Van Halen and Bassist Michael Anthony
Dave’s drumming influences over the years have included John Bonham, Tommy Aldridge and Tommy Lee. This influenced the development in his own style of playing. Dave has always dedicated himself to the challenge of mastering his drum playing, getting the perfect sound in the recording studio, working out new and exciting ways to enhance live shows and most of all, the rush of performing in front of the people that make it all worthwhile, THE FANS!!!!!!
